Not only did I get to meet her, I got to be part of a conversation with Oprah, Van Jones (CNN), Rebecca Welsh (The HALO Foundation), and eleven other participants about the impact of service on our lives as part of Oprah Daily's The Life You Want class.
But maybe most incredible of all, I had the opportunity to tell Oprah in detail about my larger vision for how I want to impact the lives of new teachers around the world.

I was so excited when I learned about the Classroom Managment Club I have been an avid listener of the podcast, a member of the R.E.A.D.Y. for School Academy, and have taken part in other professional development classes Dr. Lori has offered. This is my first year of teaching and I honestly don't know what that would have looked like without having discovered Dr. Lori and the valuable resources she has so thoughtfully created.
