Dr. Lori Friesen taught elementary school for ten years in Canada and overseas, and taught hundreds of pre-service teachers at the University of Lethbridge. Her Masters in Education work was published as The Beginning Teacher's Handbook for Elementary School, which sold thousands of copies as Lori presented at conventions across the country.
Dr. Lori completed her PhD in Education at the University of Alberta, Canada. She was awarded a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada Doctoral Fellowship, the Isaak Walton Killam Memorial Scholarship, the Doctoral Prize of Distinction, and the University of Alberta Ph.D. Recruitment Scholarship for her doctoral research. Dr. Lori was inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society in recognition of her outstanding academic achievement.
