Show Notes:

When you take the steps to do what you need to do and make the changes you need to make, you can create a classroom you truly love. New teachers can feel so empowered and confident when they have the support and guidance that they need. Our guest today, Natalie Sanfelippo, has experienced so much growth in her first year of teaching and is sharing all about how she gained the confidence she needed to create a classroom she and her students love thanks to the Classroom Management Club.

Natalie’s journey to teaching started when she was working as a special education para educator. After 8 years supporting special education students as a para, she finished her Bachelors and went on to her Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction. She now teaches second grade in a suburb of Seattle with her oldest daughter as her team leader!

Even with Natalie’s experience working in classrooms, she wanted more support to prepare for running her own classroom so she completed the READY for School Academy. She is currently a member of the Classroom Management Club where she continues to get the support and guidance she needs to thrive in her classroom.

Like many new teachers, Natalie didn’t realize at first just how much guidance she would need as a first year teacher. Thanks to the Academy and the Classroom Management Club, Natalie feels confident implementing natural consequences, using motivators effectively, and working with students with ADHD and ODD. Natalie feels less frustrated, more calm, and more confident thanks to what she has learned in the Academy and the Club.

Want to feel more confident in your classroom management? Check out the Classroom Management Club. Inside you’ll have access to classroom management hacks, practical PD, fresh monthly resources, and a monthly Q&A with me. I can’t wait to see you inside and the incredible growth you’ll make!
